Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Chess Instructor to join our team. As an Instructor, you will be responsible for educating and guiding students through the foundation of chess. You will play a vital role in helping individuals learn and grow.
Duties:
- Lesson plans are provided
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment for students
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Collaborate with other instructors and staff to enhance the learning experience
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom culture
- Implement effective classroom management techniques
Requirements:
- Experience working with students of various ages and backgrounds
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Classroom management skills to maintain a productive learning environment
- Knowledge of Chess instructional methodologies and educational practices.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for teaching
